Tea and Tranquility: Meditation & Self-Care Circle 

This storytime is held every Tuesday (starting March 4th) at  11:15 AM in the Children's Wing. Join us for stories, songs, bonding, playtime, early literacy practice, and lots of fun!

Looking for a fun way to dive into books, enjoy some tasty treats, and get ready for the upcoming school year? Join the Crunch Time Book Club! 

After years of searching, Bren Ryan has found her place in Hope Harbor. Working as a barista suits her to a T, as does the laid-back vibe of her adopted town. Nothing is lacking in her life--except romance. But that's okay.

Fun and games for toddlers and preschool age children! Every Wednesday morning in the library meeting room at 11:00 am until 11:30 am. Adults must accompany their child and sometimes can join in the fun. Games, Music, and dance!

The Read What You Want (RWYW) Book Club meets every second Wednesday of the month. This is a book club for rebels who like to read whatever they want. We discuss the books we've read, what we liked and what we didn't.

Queer and Allied Parents Join Us for Thoughtful Conversations and Community! 

Each month we’ll explore current books that inclusively support and enliven parents and caregivers from all walks of life.

This time is set aside for the board meeting of a local group called Joy of Living: The Arc. This group supports adults living with I.D.D that need a home and place to connect.

Held at 10:30, Friday Morning Storytime includes songs, fingerplays and some great stories. This storytime is most appropriate for the preschool crowd, but everyone is welcome.

This fun program is intended for kids age 5-10, but everyone is welcome! Each week is something different; it might be art, it might be crafts; could be Code-a-pillars and Beebots; or we might just play games.

Admission is free. There will be concessions available for purchase.

A balanced breakfast for teens will be provided every Saturday in the summer!  From 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.- pop into the teen room for some breakfast foods. For grades 6th and up. 

iPads with apple pencils available during the class or bring your own so you can practice at home.

The board for the Wasco County Library Service District meets at 4:30 on the third Tuesday of most months.  These meetings are usually held in the meeting room at The Dalles Public Library; though at least once a year at Dufur and at Maupin.

Join us for a monthly Jewelry Making class at the library! Hosted by jewelry designer Tiffany Whipps, each session will explore a different technique and you'll create a unique piece of jewelry.
