Hang out with other fantasy book lovers and discuss the monthly book. Meets once a month on the second Thursday at 6:00 in the makerspace. 

Held at 10:30, Friday Morning Storytime includes songs, fingerplays and some great stories. This storytime is most appropriate for the preschool crowd, everyone is welcome.

This fun program is intended for kids age 5-10, but everyone is welcome! Each week is something different; it might be art, it might be crafts; could be Code-a-pillars and Beebots; or we might just play games.

Aerial Arts Demo and Do

Performers perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a special fabric. Watch a demo and then try some of the movements.

Saturday, May 10th from 11am to 12pm.

Join us for an exciting afternoon of VR gaming at the library! Step into a world of immersive experiences where you can challenge your friends in thrilling boxing matches, wield a lightsaber in epic duels, and more. 

The Teen Library Council meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month to collaborate on the best ways to serve the community through the lens of the library!

The Read What You Want (RWYW) Book Club meets every second Wednesday of the month. This is a book club for rebels who like to read whatever they want. We discuss the books we've read, what we liked and what we didn't.

This morning we will be entertained by the Marimba Pioneers.  This is a group of students from Colonel Wright School, and they will be playing their marimbas for us.  This marks the third year that they have come to perform for us.&

3rd Thursday meets the third Thursday of each month at 4:00pm. 

Join us as Abbey guides us through simple and beginner friendly watercolor projects. Leave with a completed project and a new skill to continue your painting journey. In house supplies provided.

Group Minecraft with friends after school each first and third Monday of the month.

We can't wait for you to come have some fun with our new puppet show series for toddlers and preschool age children.

The board for the Wasco County Library Service District meets at 4:30 on the third Tuesday of most months.  These meetings are usually held in the meeting room at The Dalles Public Library; though at least once a year at Dufur and at Maupin.
