Program Description

Event Details

Step back into the elegance of the Victorian era and master the refined craft of butterfly taxidermy, a pastime cherished by naturalists and collectors alike. Under the tutelage of an experienced guide, participants shall learn the artful techniques of pinning, preserving, and displaying these exquisite creatures, as was the fashion among Victorian enthusiasts of natural history.

This workshop, a delightful complement to our Study in Scarlet community read, shall provide all necessary materials to engage in this noble pursuit. Each guest shall create their own timeless keepsake—a framed butterfly specimen worthy of the finest curiosity cabinet.

Let your hands follow in the footsteps of Victorian hobbyists who sought to capture nature's fleeting beauty in eternal repose. Spaces are limited for this delightful engagement; do secure your place without delay!
