Join us this summer for Yoga in the Park. From June 5 - August 7, join us in City Park for Yoga led by Nicole Giller. Bring your own yoga mat or use one of ours and start you week off with us!

Baby Storytime is every Wednesday at 10:30am.

Meets weekly on Thursdays at 10:30am.

Learn the basics of knitting in this beginner class for kids.

We will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off and how to finish our piece. Make either a washcloth or a small bag using the same pattern. 
 

Storytime occurs every Friday at 10:30am; and will be held at City Park through the end of August. Snacks are usually provided to the youngsters after stories are over.

Snapdragon Yoga for preschool and school age children. Every first and third Saturday morning in the library. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, if not one will be provided for you.

Take off on a geology adventure and explore our ever-changing planet Earth. Dig into rocks, fossils, earthquakes, and volcanoes through hands-on activities and rockin' specimens.

Using Stick Nodes Pro Animator software, we will be creating our own animated short movies.

The Gorge Grown Mobile Farmers Market brings 100% locally grown fruit and vegetables to communities throughout the Gorge. The market will be located in the library's lower parking lot in the shade!

The Read What You Want (also known as RWYW) Book club is the book club for rebels.

Sticks in Stacks meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 5:30.

The Dalles Public Library and Northern Wasco County Parks and Rec have partnered to bring you Music and Magic in the Park, to be held at 6:00 on Wednesday evenings through August 2nd.

Sean Gaskell will give a performance and educational demonstration on the kora, an ancient 21-stringed harp from West Africa.  He will feature traditional songs that are the heart and soul of the kora’s music

Join us for an evening of storytelling, poetry, and more.  Award-winning poet and avid fly fisherman HENRY HUGHES is also an essayist, teacher, and captivating performer of verse and tales.
