Program Description
Event Details
The Dalles Public Library is hosting a 2-month long bioblitz as part of our summer reading program! A bioblitz is a community effort to record as many species in an area during a particular time frame as possible. Come to one of two sessions on June 25th (from 12-2 or from 5:30-7:30) to learn how to make an account and use the iNaturalist app, get tips and tricks for making observations of plants and animals in nature, and practice your new skills by going outside and seeing what you can find. There will be refreshments!
